Working from the Passion & Power of Eros
1440 Multiversity | March 17-22, 2019
Eros is the life-giving creative force. Our conscious relationship to eros enlivens our work with joy and passion and strengthens our leadership through connection and emotional intelligence. As leaders in today’s complex and ever-shifting landscape, our authenticity, courage, grace, transparency, focus, creativity, action, surrender, and self-care are all cultivated through our embodiment of this generative and evolutionary energy.
In this 5-day workshop, embodiment educator and leadership guide Lara Catone shows you how to consciously work with your own erotic impulse. When tapped as a resource, bold and discerning eros becomes an unequivocal guide.
Through embodiment and mindfulness practices, authentic dialogue, somatic sensing, expressive arts and movement, group inquiry, journaling, dyads, and explorations in nature, you will learn:
How to identify and shift unconscious patterns of stress, fear, and reactivity
How to align yourself with eros in order to find a clear voice, clear mind, and clear boundaries
The essence of mutual power and ways to create more collaborative communities
How to work intentionally and effectively with group energy and become a more transformative facilitator
How to let your vulnerability serve you.
When vilified, exiled, or repressed, eros leads to distortions such as competition, affairs, sexual harassment, imbalanced power dynamics, gender inequity, and violence. Embody eros and leave ready to respond with creativity and integrity to the challenges that lay before you.
This workshop is for women, transgender, and queer people.
PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE:
A minimum of two years’ experience in professional leadership in any field
